Eleven years inside the Hays County DA's office, more than 10,000 felony indictments reviewed. Now she wants to run the office that keeps those records.
Calvert lives in Kyle and has 17 years as a supervisor, most of it as the Administrative Felony Lead at the DA's office. She holds a political science degree, a paralegal certificate and a mediation certificate, and volunteers with the Hays-Caldwell Women's Center, sitting with assault survivors at the hospital, and as a Seedling mentor to kids with a parent in prison.
