She spent 31 years as a teacher and principal in the Texas Hill Country — every campus she led earned a top rating. Then she retired and immediately ran for the Texas House.
Fox holds a PhD and has lived in the Hill Country for more than 40 years. After retiring in June 2023, she became executive director of Circle Arts Theatre in New Braunfels. She and her wife Lisa have raised two children — one a teacher, one a paramedic.

Carrie IsaacAbout Carrie
Her husband represented this same area in the Texas House before she did. She won the seat herself in 2022 — and has won it twice more since.
Isaac holds a master's degree from Purdue and spent years running DEWIT, a nonprofit connecting Texans to digital education and workforce programs. Her husband Jason Isaac previously represented a neighboring district. She serves Comal and Hays counties and is running for her third term.
